One fine day, the man wakes up to find himself in a strange world with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. He quickly realizes that the only thing that makes sense about his situation is the fact that he has wings and bears fangs, and soon enough he discovers a group of winged people like him. The world around them seems to be plagued by giant winged beasts attacking anything and everything, and they soon come across a young woman — who turns out to be one of their kind — called Aneesha. After realizing she is one of these winged creatures called hunters, they decide not to kill her but instead protect her from harm. Finding out that she is a princess, they set out to take her away from the world where she has been kept as a slave, but as they attempt to escape from the invaders, an even bigger problem arises as the hunters learn that there are traitorous winged people among their ranks.The music was composed by Thirumalai-Veera S "Trimu" Deva and lyrics was written by Ramesh Naidu. This film was a complete flop upon release, but a decade later it became a cult film during Valentine's Day. The film was dubbed into Tamil as "Onayum Aatukutti" in 1997 with Senthil and Simran. The film was remade in Telugu with the same title in 1997. The music of this movie was composed by Thirumalai-Veera S. Deva.Upon release, the film received very poor reviews from critics. The Hindu called it "awful", while The Times of India called it "tired". The film was dubbed into Tamil as "Onayum Aatukutti" in 1997 with Senthil and Simran. The film was remade in Telugu with the same title in 1997. Rajinikanth had praised this movie, stating that he had considered it as the best Telugu movie of his career, but after watching it he decided to act only if he had some great story-line to act. Mohan Babu refused to act in any films which featured dual roles if there were any hero characters involved. He backed out of the project when his son, Srikanth Jr., was selected to play the role of Rajinikanth's brother. This prompted Srikanth to quit movies for a brief period. Tamil actor Arjun knew Mohan Babu personally at that time, so he told him about an upcoming project with Rajinikanth in which he was considered for the role of his brother. He later rejected the project because their looks were too similar. The film was remade in Telugu with the same title in 1997. It starred music director M. M.
